we really enjoy our job here, as our work introduces us to many wonderful tastes and flavours from all around the UK and from the farthest outposts of the world. Every so often we like to feature one of our client’s products, providing they’re using our closures of course and at the moment we’re showcasing Sophie’s Steak Sauce.

With branches in Covent Garden & Chelsea, Sophies Steakhouses have established themselves as premium value venues for steak dining in London and they have a reputation for using only the choicest cuts. To accompany their steaks, they developed their now legendary Sophie’s Steak Sauce….a mouth watering tomato based sweet & sour sauce with a subtle kick. We’re delighted that Sophie choose Rankin to develop a branded wood top stopper cork and printed sleeve to dress her sauce bottle.

Sophie says……“the stopper and sleeve look great and both items have helped us re-in force the quality and provenance of Sophie’s Steak Sauce. Samples were developed quickly and once we’d decided on the look, our order was handled with great efficiency and delivery was on time’’

If you’re in London and fancy a steak why not visit Sophies Steakhouse

Rankin Brothers & Sons are very proud to be sponsoring Sir Steve Redgrave in his latest challenge – Race Across America!

Jim Rankin says:

Knowing Steve from my rowing days, I am delighted to be able to help out in his next adventure. Such a challenge requires a robust back-up team and that’s where I’ll be helping – I will take my camera and will post some shots as soon as it’s over.”

Follow the adventures on twitter.

Or check out their Facebook page to make a donation to comic relief

Race Across America is Sir Steve’s latest challenge. Joined by a team of former rowers and friends Steve and his team are competing in the toughest cycle race in the world. Crossing from Oceanside, California to Annapolis, Maryland, a distance of 3,000 miles in just 8 days, crossing 14 States, 2 mountain ranges, 100,000ft of climbing (that’s more than 3 times the height of Mt Everest!) and every extreme of weather; this is the ultimate cycling challenge.

Read more about this challenge here.
